Samaritan’s Fellowship Foundation is honored to welcome Samson Salamat as Chairman of the Board, bringing decades of leadership, advocacy, and service in human rights, social justice, peacebuilding, and civic engagement.
Samson Salamat is widely recognized as one of Pakistan’s leading human rights defenders and public voices for equality and justice. As the Founder and Chairman of the Center for Human Rights Education (CHRE) and Chairman of Rawadari Tehreek, he has dedicated his life to promoting human dignity, religious freedom, equal citizenship, and the protection of fundamental human rights for all people, regardless of their faith, ethnicity, gender, or social background.
Throughout his career, Samson has been a tireless advocate for those whose voices often go unheard. Under his leadership, CHRE and Rawadari Tehreek have played a significant role in raising awareness about human rights, strengthening civic participation, encouraging interfaith harmony, and empowering communities to become active participants in building a more inclusive and democratic society.
His work has touched the lives of thousands of young people across Pakistan. Through leadership development programs, human rights education, peacebuilding initiatives, and community engagement activities, he has inspired a new generation of citizens to stand for justice, promote tolerance, and contribute positively to society. Many young leaders who have benefited from his mentorship continue to serve their communities today, carrying forward the values of equality, dignity, and responsible citizenship.
Beyond Pakistan, Samson Salamat has represented the country’s civil society on numerous international platforms, conferences, and human rights forums. He has consistently advocated for peace, justice, the rule of law, religious freedom, and equal rights, helping to bring global attention to important human rights issues while presenting a positive vision of Pakistan as a nation committed to diversity, inclusion, and democratic values. His contributions have earned him respect among policymakers, human rights organizations, faith leaders, and civil society networks both nationally and internationally.
Samson believes in a Pakistan where every citizen is treated with dignity and respect, where justice is accessible to all, and where diversity is celebrated as a source of strength rather than division. He envisions a society where one’s background does not determine opportunities, but rather one’s potential, hard work, and aspirations. His commitment to these principles has made him a trusted voice for peace, equality, and social transformation.
For Samaritan’s Fellowship Foundation, the appointment of Samson Salamat as Chairman of the Board marks an important milestone in our journey. His experience, wisdom, and strategic leadership will help guide the organization as it continues to expand its work in community development, human rights, education, healthcare, clean water, sustainable livelihoods, and the empowerment of vulnerable communities.
We are confident that his leadership will strengthen our governance, deepen our impact, and help us build stronger partnerships both within Pakistan and internationally. More importantly, his vision aligns closely with our mission of advancing freedom, dignity, and opportunity for all.
We are deeply grateful that Samson Salamat has chosen to join Samaritan’s Fellowship Foundation in this important leadership role. We look forward to learning from his experience, benefiting from his guidance, and working together to create lasting change in the lives of marginalized and underserved communities.
Please join us in warmly welcoming Samson Salamat to the Samaritan’s Fellowship Foundation family as Chairman of the Board.
