Millions of people in Pakistan face barriers because of poverty, religion, ethnicity, gender, disability, occupation, or social background. These barriers can restrict their access to justice, education, healthcare, safe water, dignified work, sustainable livelihoods, and meaningful participation in public life.
Samaritan’s Fellowship Foundation Pakistan works alongside communities affected by discrimination, persecution, exploitation, and social exclusion. We respond to immediate needs, strengthen awareness of rights, expand economic and educational opportunities, connect people with credible support, and enable citizens to engage public institutions through peaceful, lawful, and constructive means.
Our work is guided by the needs and priorities expressed by the communities themselves. Across more than 55 communities (cities and villages) in three provinces, our professional team and network of over 250 volunteers work with community leaders, civil-society organizations, development partners, and public institutions to help people move beyond aid toward freedom, self-reliance, and meaningful participation.
Samaritan’s Fellowship Foundation Pakistan is an independent, nonprofit, nongovernmental, and nonpartisan civil-society organization. It is licensed under Section 42 of the Companies Act, registered with the Federal Board of Revenue and the Punjab Charity Commission, and accredited by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy. Its programs are open to all without discrimination.
We coordinate with local communities, government departments, statutory mechanisms, civil society organizations, professional networks, and development partners working toward shared priorities such as poverty reduction, labour protection, education, public health, social inclusion, human rights, and sustainable development. At the same time, our independence allows us to document community realities, identify gaps, advocate for improvements, and bring community voices into discussions that affect their lives.
With more than 12 years of direct community experience, Samaritan’s Fellowship Foundation Pakistan has developed the operational reach, local relationships, and institutional systems required to deliver responsible, community-based programs in underserved settings. SFFP currently works across more than 55 cities and villages in three provinces through a professional team of 13 staff members and a network of over 250 volunteers.
The organization’s experience includes more than 19 development initiatives and six interconnected flagship programs advancing human rights and civic education, healthcare, education, clean water, sustainable livelihoods, and community leadership. Years of working alongside marginalized and minority communities have enabled SFFP to understand how poverty, discrimination, exploitation, weak access to justice, and limited public participation reinforce one another.
SFFP combines practical community support with rights awareness, peaceful civic participation, institutional engagement, and locally led solutions. Its internal systems cover financial management, safeguarding, monitoring, community feedback, documentation, reporting, and donor accountability. SFFP remains independently responsible for organizational strategy, program implementation, financial oversight, and results.
SFFP’s capacity is strengthened through relationships with grassroots communities, civil-society organizations, technical experts, community and faith leaders, healthcare and education providers, media professionals, and relevant public institutions. These relationships support community outreach, specialist training, referrals, institutional dialogue, and coordinated responses to issues affecting marginalized and minority communities.
CHRE Pakistan and experienced civil-society leaders provide technical guidance and mentorship in human rights, peacebuilding, minority inclusion, and civic participation. SFFP also engages constructively with lawyers, journalists, educators, healthcare professionals, elected representatives, and government departments where their expertise or institutional role can help communities pursue lawful and peaceful solutions.
SFFP’s international giving and support infrastructure includes the Samaritan’s Fellowship US Fund at Myriad USA, GlobalGiving, Every.org, Benevity, and Google for Nonprofits. These platforms and support relationships expand access to charitable funding, digital outreach, technical resources, and international engagement. SFFP nevertheless remains the lead organization and retains full responsibility for program design, implementation, safeguarding, financial management, monitoring, and reporting.
