Samaritan’s Fellowship Foundation Pakistan works with marginalized and minority communities to defend their rights, strengthen their voice, and create opportunities for lasting self-reliance.
Our work connects three pillars: Freedom, Rights & Empowerment; Economic Opportunity; and Peace & Fellowship.
We speak for the freedom of people from social differences, injustice, modern slavery, extremism, religious intolerance, persecution, and poverty.
Our focus is on freedom from bonded labour and exploitation, equal protection, and access to justice. We stand with marginalized and minority communities facing discrimination, religious intolerance, and barriers to exercising their rights. These priorities include freedom of religion or belief, the rights of women and children, and the conditions families need to rebuild their lives with dignity and remain free from exploitation.
Our focus is on people’s ability to express their views, associate peacefully, and influence decisions affecting their lives. We prioritize meaningful participation and representation for women, young people, and minority communities whose perspectives are often excluded. This includes an inclusive civic space, responsive public institutions, and accountability, so communities can raise concerns, exercise their rights, and contribute to public life on equal terms.
Equal protection, fair treatment, and access to lawful remedies. Rights awareness, constitutional and legal literacy, accessible complaint mechanisms, and institutional accountability are central to this focus.
Freedom of expression, peaceful assembly, and association. Our priorities connect civic education with community voice, women’s and youth leadership, meaningful representation, and constructive engagement with public institutions.
We design and implement high-impact initiatives across education, livelihoods, healthcare, and social harmony to empower marginalized communities and drive sustainable change. These focus areas are translated into measurable impact through the following strategic initiatives.
Bonded labour restricts people’s freedom to leave exploitative work and make decisions about their lives. Debt dependence and coercion can affect entire families, interrupt children’s education, and limit access to justice and independent livelihoods.
SFFP’s focus connects freedom from exploitation with the conditions needed to sustain it: rights awareness, lawful release, family recovery, children’s education, and economic independence. Through Set Them Free, we support families in rebuilding their lives and reducing their vulnerability to renewed exploitation.
We document these stories to preserve memory, promote due process and defend the dignity of every person.

Discrimination based on religion, gender, or social background can restrict access to education, employment, public services, and participation in community life. For minority communities, these barriers can overlap with religious intolerance and exclusion, affecting people’s safety, dignity, and freedom to make their own choices.
SFFP’s focus brings together equal citizenship, freedom of religion or belief, gender equality, and the rights of women and children. Our priorities include protection from discrimination, respect for diversity, and equal opportunities to participate in society. Rights awareness, interfaith dialogue, and peaceful coexistence support this commitment, with particular attention to people facing multiple forms of exclusion.

When people face discrimination or exploitation, it can be difficult to know where to report what happened, who is responsible for responding, or what remedies are available. For marginalized and minority communities in Pakistan, access to justice depends on clear information, accessible complaint mechanisms, and public institutions that apply the law fairly.
SFFP promotes constitutional and legal literacy so people can understand their rights and make informed decisions about seeking redress. Our focus includes responsible documentation of rights concerns and dialogue with the institutions responsible for addressing them. We advocate for fair procedures so people can raise a concern, receive a response, and seek review of a decision.

Freedom of expression, peaceful assembly, and association allow people to raise concerns and take part in decisions that affect their communities. Women, young people, and religious minorities often have fewer opportunities to set the agenda or represent their communities in discussions with public officials.
SFFP’s priorities include civic education, community leadership, and meaningful representation. We support opportunities for residents to identify shared concerns, discuss them openly, and bring their priorities directly to local institutions. This includes space for women and young people to lead those conversations.

For a family leaving bonded labour, the freedom to choose where and how to work depends in part on having a reliable source of income. A worker may have a trade but lack the tools to earn from it. For others, the barrier is access to training, decent work, or the resources needed to start a small business.
SFFP’s economic inclusion work focuses on these barriers. Through StartFish, practical skills training, tools, and enterprise mentoring help people build livelihoods suited to their experience and local demand. The priority is for individuals and families to exercise greater control over their earnings and working lives.

As more public debate, services, and job opportunities move online, digital rights affect who can participate safely and on equal terms. People need to know how their personal information is used, how to recognise fraud, and where to raise concerns when a digital system affects their choices.
SFFP is developing IMPULSE to explore how these issues affect marginalized and minority communities in Pakistan. Its priorities include online safety and privacy, freedom of expression, and accountable AI governance. It also considers how digital and AI skills can widen access to employment and enterprise.
