Our Position: Peace, Justice and the Rule of Law

Samaritan’s Fellowship Foundation believes that every allegation must be addressed through lawful investigation, due process, and the courts. If any person has committed an offence, accountability should come through the law—not through mob violence, intimidation, collective punishment, or vigilantism.

Our purpose is not to create division, hostility, hatred, or social unrest. We seek a peaceful Pakistan in which people of different faiths and communities can live and work together with dignity, mutual respect, solidarity, and equal protection under the law.

We believe crime, hatred, discrimination, and violence should be confronted through stronger institutions, responsible law enforcement, access to justice, dialogue, and peaceful civic action. Where public trust in institutions has weakened, the answer is to strengthen accountability, institutional capacity, and the rule of law—not to take the law into private hands.

We also believe that mob violence, vigilantism, and lawlessness damage Pakistan’s image before the world. Persistent instability and serious human-rights concerns can weaken international confidence, create diplomatic and reputational consequences, contribute to economic or social restrictions and sanctions in certain circumstances, discourage businesses and investors, reduce international partnerships, and close doors to economic opportunity and development.

These consequences do not affect minorities alone. When the rule of law is weakened, insecurity, economic uncertainty, lost investment, unemployment, social division, and international isolation can ultimately affect both minority and majority communities. Protecting human rights and maintaining public order are therefore not interests of one particular community—they are essential to Pakistan’s collective prosperity, stability, and national interest.

For the peace, stability, prosperity, and progress of Pakistan, we believe civil society must work constructively with law-enforcement agencies, government institutions, religious leaders, community representatives, and the Armed Forces of Pakistan wherever appropriate and within their respective constitutional and lawful roles. Lasting peace requires cooperation, mutual trust, responsible leadership, strong institutions, and a shared commitment to protecting every citizen.

Pakistan becomes stronger when its people stand together—not against one another. We believe Pakistanis of every faith and background should stand shoulder to shoulder, reject hatred and violence, respect one another’s dignity, and work together to eliminate crime, extremism, discrimination, and injustice.

Like peaceful, stable, and developed societies around the world, we should strengthen the rule of law, build confidence in public institutions, protect fundamental rights, encourage responsible citizenship, support justice through lawful institutions, and create an environment in which businesses, investment, education, innovation, and communities can flourish.

Our vision is not confrontation but cooperation; not division but solidarity; not hatred but love; not vigilantism but justice through law. We want to work together for a Pakistan that is safer, stronger, more prosperous, more respected internationally, and more peaceful for future generations.

Our human-rights work therefore calls for peace, love, solidarity, social justice, equal rights, religious freedom, national harmony, economic progress, stronger institutions, and respect for the rule of law for every person and every community.

Justice through law — never justice through violence.
