Years of direct community work showed SFFP that services alone cannot overcome exclusion, exploitation, weak access to justice, or barriers to public participation. SFFP therefore strengthened its rights-based approach through human rights learning, civic education, community leadership, and technical engagement with experienced civil society actors—while retaining full ownership of strategy, implementation, finance, and accountability.

The story of the Good Samaritan gives a clear picture of God’s desire for us to help those in desperate need wherever we find them. After describing how the Samaritan rescued a hurting man whom others had passed by, Jesus told His hearers, “Go and do likewise.” That is the mission of Samaritan’s Fellowship—to follow the example of Christ by helping those in need. This has been part of our DNA since 2015; we have provided aid to thousands of people affected by natural disasters and manmade crises. Learn more
